Planet Gib is gibberellin hormone at 4% concentration. Gibberellin-group hormones cause elongation of plant cells. Rate 50 cc per 200 L of water (equivalent to 1 Gib tablet per 200 L tank). For fruiting vegetables in the yard-long-bean group: helps elongate pods to the quality farmers require, keeping pods green rather than pale. For fruit trees: in durian, promotes fast young-leaf flush during post-harvest recovery and longer flower stalks when paclobutrazol is used to force flowering; in mango and other fruit trees, aids fast young-leaf flush after harvest and helps extend the flush when pulling shoots.
